Most clients who enter the program successfully purchase their home. At Requity Homes, approximately 80% of clients complete the buyback, with an average purchase time of about 18 months, well within the standard three-year term.
If you choose not to purchase, or aren't mortgage-ready by the end of the term, you can exit the program. A transaction fee of 5% of the original home purchase price applies, and your remaining accumulated savings — your initial deposit plus monthly savings contributions beyond that fee — are returned to you.
